Rustic weddings are on the rise. But having a wedding in a farm settings isn’t as simple as finding the nearest barn. Good venues are set up properly with things like parking and are handicap accessible.
Ironstone Ranch
Ironstone Ranch offers several outdoor and indoor venues for you to explore including an 1860s barn that has 21st Century amenities like climate control. They also offer quite a few breathtaking backdrops for all your wedding pictures.
Lakeview Farms
Lakeview Farms is situated on 130 acres in York County. They can accommodate weddings up to 275 guests on weekends. They have an outdoor area for ceremonies and an indoor area for the reception. They do not offer catering or beverage services, so you will have to book them separately.
Pleasant View Farm
Pleasant View Farm has three locations where you can have your ceremony or reception. They are smaller and can only hold weddings up to 95 guests. While the barn looks nice, it doesn’t have heat or air conditioning. However, the Stable does offer both.
Harvest View Barn at Hershey Farms
Harvest View Barn has over 250 acres that comes complete with a barn built in the 1800’s (completely restored), a balcony, a pond with swans and a grand fireplace. It can hold up to 250 guests.
Strock Enterprises
Strock Enterprises is a family-owned location has been doing weddings for 100 years. They have two locations on site available for ceremonies and weddings.
Linwood Estate
Linwood Estate has over 300 acres of Appalachian Valley woodlands. As a larger venue, they offer you the ability to have your rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception at one location. You can even stay the night in one of their luxury suites.
Camp Penn
Camp Penn is located on the southern edge of the Michaux State Forest. It is available for small ceremonies of up to 125 guests. It has an indoor chapel as well as a few outdoor settings.
Historic Acres of Hershey
Historic Acres of Hershey has numerous options available for a rustic-themed wedding in Pennsylvania including a pond, banquet rooms, indoor/outdoor pavilion, farmhouse and more.
Pheasant Field Bed & Breakfast
Pheasant Field offers several locations for an outdoor wedding including a pergola by a pond and a perennial garden. If desired, you can set up a tent for a more traditional local for your reception.
Wedding ceremonies under the pergola by the pond are peaceful with only the sound of the fountain in the distance. For a more traditional ceremony, nuptials can be held at the arbor in our perennial garden where trees, fencing and flowers create an elegant setting. With an event tent set up on the tennis court, patio, or the lawn near the pond, your reception and celebration can continue through bright sun or “liquid sunshine.”
Wind in the Willows
Wind in the Willows offers an 18th Century barn with 21st Century climate control. They are located just outside of Harrisburg.
